March of Dimes 2011
Ally asked me to walk with her this year in Corvallis for the March of Dimes organization with her sister-in-law Miranda. We did a 6 mile walk around Avery Park and the OSU campus area.
Miranda made up some super cute shirts for us all to wear that said "EVERY STEP COUNTS". We had a bunch of fun!

Carson at the Dentist
So I forgot my camera on his very first dental appointment so this is actually his second appointment. Carson at 4 years old. He has always done such a great job. Hope he keeps it up.
Our New Kitty
We got a new kitty this last year and when I say "got" I mean she showed up on our patio hungry, skinny and constantly crying. I figured if she stuck around she could stay and when I say "stuck around" I mean she didn't get hit by a car and she put up with Carson's tormenting. After several months she still waited on the patio for breakfast and dinner. We got her fixed so there you have it, I spent money on her and now we are in for the long haul. She has become the kids best friend and sometimes a babysitter so I can get stuff done around the house. Please meet Carmel. AKA:Carmie. Named for her carmel color but nicknamed because we kept accidentally calling her Marble which was our cats name before we got Carmie. We always try to name our cats accordingly. Bob: no tail. Tri-pod: three legs. Sundae: colored like a chocolate cover ice cream sundae. Marble: marbly coloring. Mary: black and white like a nun. All of these cats named above except Carmie have passed on. We do have a second cat named Socks: looks like he's wearing socks (of course), but he is not kid friendly. He only comes to eat and then Carmie knocks him around and he runs off scared.
Here are some cute pictures we've taken in the last few months with Carmie. She is quite the snuggler.
